Devon's Wish List
Clothes
(Boy's size medium, aka size 7/8; I'm VERY skinny so I need pants with adjustable waists whenever possible or they just fall off me; my shoe size is 13)
- Pajamas - footie pajamas specifically would be nice
- Long pants & jeans
- Long sleeved shirts
- Turtleneck shirts
- Sweaters
- T-shirts
- Really, just about anything as I don't have any more hand-me-downs waiting around for me and I'm starting to run out of clothes
Furniture & Room
Toys & Entertainment
(I would rather have toys that let me explore and/or use my imagination rather than ones that just make noise)
- Dress-up and Let's Pretend accessories are a huge hit around here. In particular, I want a Buzz Lightyear costume and a space helmet. I also want
a crown.
- Books! I love books! I especially like learning books that teach me things.
- More Easy Link keys so I can connect to the internet - specifically,
Pooh/Mickey,
Handy Manny/Cars, and
Little Einsteins/Jojo. If you
can find one of the extra Easy Link trays (made by Fisher Price) to hold the keys, that would be great too but Mimi can't find one. Easy Link
is now discountinued, so the prices are these are ridiculous. Really, if you can find a used one on eBay or at a yard sale, that would be best.
- I got a basic SC-100 wiring set from SnapCircuits, which I love and play with all the
time! Basically, the SC-100 is a subset of their other more elaborate kits, so I would love any of their
upgrade kits (scroll down the page a bit).
One of the cases to hold everything would be awfully nice as well.
- I would like a gun that shoots suction cup darts, like this or this. These
are readily available at Kmart, Walmart, Target, etc...
- I love watching movies, and would adore having any of the following on DVD: 101 Dalmatians (animated; not the live remake from a few years
ago), The Sword in the Stone, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Toy Story 2, The Aristocats,
The Rescuers, The Rescuers Down Under, Babe, Babe in the City, Lady and the Tramp, Pete's Dragon,
The Polar Express, Tinkerbelle and the Lost Treasure, Ice Age III - Dawn of the Dinosaurs,
Cars, and Swiss Family Robinson. Also, I'm interested in
The
Original Christmas Classics.
- I'm starting to enjoy simple board games a lot. I already have Candyland, Hi-Ho Cherry-O, the Blue's Clues game, Rhino Rampage, Chutes &
Ladders, Connect 4 (Mimi's note - he doesn't actually have this one yet, but is about to get it for his birthday), and Hungry Hungry Hippos. Something else geared for 6 year olds would be very nice.
- A guitar - a real one - sized for a six year old (Mimi's note - I hear that he might be getting this for his birthday from someone)
- A stamp collecting kit
- Button making kit (one of those with a machine/hand press so I can make buttons to wear)
- Walkie-talkies. I have some toy ones already but the range is so bad on them that they are almost unusable. I really want real ones with
rechargeable batteries so Kieran and I can play spies.
- A hula-hoop
- Bakugan toys
