• My favorite thing in the world right now is still Thomas the Train. Both Kieran and I play with these all day long. I watch the shows and have lots of the books, so I know almost all the trains by name (which means that knock-off brands won't do). In fact, I'm pretty well obsessed with Thomas & Friends. Here's a complete list (and it's REALLY long) of all the trains and accessories I'd like; anything not on the list means I already have it or I don't really want it because I don't know that train yet. Ones I particularly want are bolded: Arthur, barrel loader, bay bridge, Bertie the Bus, boulder mountain set, breakdown train, car wash, cargo transfer, cement works, circus train, clock tower, collapsing Sodor suspension bridge, Cranky the Crane, dairy cars, Day at the 'Works' set, Diesel, Down by the Docks set, echo tunnel, Edward, express coaches, Fergus, fire station, giggling troublesome trucks, Harold the Helicopter, Henry, ice cream factory, ice delivery cars, Knapford covered bridge, Knapford Station, lighthouse & bridge, load & sort recycling center, Mighty Mac, Mr. Jolly's Chocolate Factory, mountain overpass, mountain overpass set, musical caboose, power station, recycling cars, Rolf's castle bridge, rollercoaster set, rolling gantry crane, roundhouse, Salty, sling bridge, smelting yard, Sodor Line caboose, Sodor Oil Depot, timber yard, Toby, toll booth bridge, turntable, tunnel, Useful Engine shed, and the windmill. A few other Thomas the Train things I want are any of the Thomas DVDs, a play hut, and the complete stories. Most major book stores & toy stores carry Thomas the Train stuff, and you will probably find better prices and/or availability if you look around than relying on the links Mimi put here.

• Dress up clothes are always welcome, as I have to provide enough clothes to dress up myself AND my baby brother, who always wants to do what I do. In particular, I'm hoping for a Little Red Riding Hood cape and a wolf hat for Kieran to wear.
